10 Key Steps to Success Through Jesus
83
Before we look into the 10 Key Steps to Success Through Jesus, we need to review The Seed Principle. Why? It encompasses many of the aspects of the 10 Key Steps to Success Through Jesus and serves to enlighten all as to the comparison between seed to harvest and poverty to prosperity.
"While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and
summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease."
- Genesis 8:22
When a farmer begins to plant with a view towards a bountiful harvest
he is careful where the seed is sown. Hard ground, strewn with rocks
and thorns, will reap minimal to no harvest at all. Fertile ground will
provide an ideal starting point. It takes discipline, motivation, sacrifice
and commitment. You will need to sacrifice personal time and interests in
favor of focus on your goal.
An opportunity to work for yourself at a time when unemployment is at an all-time high. Just like the farmer, you'll need training and instruction to see your vision and dream see reality. Just like the transition from seed to harvest.
The 10 Key Steps to Success Through Jesus will come to you at a time in history where others will face the unemployment line, disparity and personal challenges with no safety net. Your vision shall be realized.
God first in all things
God is not your co-pilot. He is your pilot.
He's the one in the control tower guiding you away from storms and troublespots.
He is your ground crew, making sure you are fueled up for your journey with all inspections and repairs made.
He is your flight crew. Always there to insure that if trouble arises, it will be located, identified and shut down.
God is all.
However, you have to welcome Him into your life and allow Him to do what He needs to do in your life.
Initially, you might not like what he's doing. As a comparison, put yourself in the place of the owner of a company two steps from closing its doors. As a last resort, you bring in a team of business experts to go through everything and make all the changes to get you out of trouble and on your way to success.
A complete turnaround.
However, there are some changes you don't like.
You rebel.
Remember, you gave that team complete autonomy. You brought them in because you knew they were the best.
True miracle workers.
The changes they make and the personnel they dismiss are those which stand in the way of your success and are the reasons you are on the verge of shutting down.
You must put the team first.
Their decision must be final regardless of anything.
God is that team.
Invite Him in and allow Him to go through it all, eliminating and changing those things which stand in your way of success.
You already know what the alternative is.
Obedience - For that team to turn your company around, you have to be obedient to their decisions. Keep in mind that the things recommended for change and removal are those very same things that got you in trouble in the first place, so why would you want to keep them?
Sacrifice - Remember that farmer we discussed earlier in the Seed Principle? He has to put many things on the side. When others are relaxing and laying back in their personal interests that farmer is up at 5AM or earlier. He has prioritized his day and moves with a purpose. Zero wasted effort. This means sacrificing many things he might enjoy doing. Stuff like fishing, hunting, hanging out with friends and all that. He knows those things will pull him away and he'll lose his focus. Something he cannot afford to do since a bountiful harvest is his goal. The cost of not sacrificing is too high.
Concentrate/Consecrate - Therefore, concentration on how to reach that goal is your obsession. Define your goal and write it down. Speak it out loud in the morning when you awake and in the evening before you turn in. Repeat it to yourself during the day. Consecrate that goal. Webster's dictionary defines the word "consecrate" as a 14th century term derived from the Latin consecratus: to devote irrevocably to the worship of God by a solemn ceremony. Devote to a purpose with or as with deep solemnity or dedication.
Loyalty - A marriage of any kind cannot survive without loyalty. It's easy when all goes well. It's when things are not going so well that our loyalty is tested. Those things which test our loyalty are those things we thought we dumped. It is no coincidence that an old flame from the past shows up after you got married. Everything is a test. Will you pass? Loyalty is a big part of your consecration.
Sharing & Giving - This does not mean sharing and giving what you have blindly. Ask God for the wisdom and understanding. There will be those who need some of what you have. Consider that homeless man on the homepage of our website. Consider James 2: 15-16. "If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, and one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?"
Commitment - This means being totally and unequivocally focused on Jesus with your goal being a solid and tight relationship with Him. A marriage. Watch this. Divorce is not an option.
Submission - Given our past lack of self-confidence submission is often the toughest step for many. Having to be right all the time means you acknowledge nothing coming from anyone else but you if what they suggest, say or do conflicts with your ideas and intentions. When you do this, you set yourself up for failure. Your self-centered position landed you right where you are right now. You invited God into your life to make changes and when He does, submit to them. Be open to the suggestions of others even when they conflict with your preset ideas. Guess what? You may not know what they know. God knows all and sees what you don't. He is your advance team. Pay attention to what He tells you and move accordingly. He's way ahead of you.
Forgiveness - Matthew 6:14-15. "For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."
Love & Faith - A marriage is built on many things. Love and faith in your partner are the two most importment. Consider your commitment to your goal to be a marriage. Just like the ideal relationship you desire with Jesus. You love it. That deep feeling of commitment. That faith that your goal can be attained and together with Jesus, you can do it!
Planning to be Successful
How does one truly plan to be successful? Recently, a Hub was written by Minister DeBorrah K. Ogans of Alpha 7 Ministries which answers this question very succinctly and provides rich insight to the question asked by so many no matter what their career path may be.
Planning to be Successful is the quintessential companion to 10 Key Steps to Success Through Jesus and we heartily recommend it.
How do you define success?

Wonderful hub - words to live by!
As an old typesetter may I suggest that you make the page reads shorter by inserting more page breaks.
Readers have a shortcoming in that a large body of text will short circuit their concentration.
Your first paragraph is just too longer body of text in one chunk...
